​​Liz Flores​

Liz is a results-oriented healthcare leader with over 15 years of experience in Quality Improvement, Patient Safety and Accreditation Canada standards, processes, tools, and methodologies. Driven by the possibility of creating a better healthcare system with a positive lasting impact on outcomes that matter to patients, clients and their families. 

Liz is the Executive Director for Quality, Patient Safety and Accreditation for Providence Health Care, a large healthcare organization located in the traditional and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples, the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations (Vancouver, B.C, Canada). 

Liz has a background of Industrial Engineering, and a Master’s in Engineering, with Productivity and Quality Systems focus. She has been a surveyor with Accreditation Canada since 2016 and she has led her organization to achieve Exemplary status in three consecutive cycles. 

She is a relationship builder - connecting people working in the complex healthcare system to drive a universal vision of better health for all.
