Dr. Chapman is a neurologist specializing in nerve and muscle disease, and is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia.  She completed her Neurology training at UBC followed by a  Neurophysiology Fellowship at Harvard University.  

She is the Head of Neurology at Providence Health Care and Director of the Neuromuscular Disease Program at the Vancouver Hospital. Dr. Chapman is committed to improving outcomes in healthcare and recently completed a Masters in Health Systems Transformation at the Value Institute in Austin, Texas.  As physician lead for Innovation and Quality for the Department of Medicine at SPH, she supports the implementation of transformational ideas. She is passionate about cycling and is happiest skiing in the mountains with her family.
