An innovation arm of Providence Health Care has teamed up with the Centre for Digital Media (CDM) to create an app designed to enhance care and family engagement in Canadian long-term care homes.

The app, called Oasis Connect, was one of the winning pitches at Skunkworks: Hacking Aging that received funding and support from PHIR+E (Providence Health Innovation, Research + Engagement, pronounced “fire”) to help bring the solution to life.
